About the program
The Early Childhood Education program is offered in two pathways: a three-year DEC (Diploma of College Studies) and a two-year AEC (Attestation of College Studies). Both options prepare students to work with children aged 0 to 12, focusing on fostering their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development through meaningful relationships and structured educational activities.
Graduates gain the skills to plan, lead, and evaluate learning experiences, with DEC graduates also qualified to pursue roles in daycare management or ownership. While both pathways develop the same core competencies, they differ in duration and admission requirements, allowing students to choose the option that best fits their goals.
