The TAV College Tuition Credit

At TAV College, a full or partial tuition credit may be awarded on the basis of financial need. The tuition credit is intended to help students who are unable to pay the TAV college tuition. The amount of financial aid will be calculated on the basis of parental/family income, family size, the student’s own income as well as bursaries awarded by the MELS. The tuition credits awarded by TAV College is meant to supplement rather than to replace Government of Quebec Student Loans and Bursaries.

More information

The TAV Tuition Credit is awarded in the form of a scholarship and is used to pay a portion of a student’s tuition that the student is unable to pay. At the end of the year, the student will receive a tuition receipt for the full amount of tuition paid. This amount will include both the amount paid by the student as well as the amount covered by the TAV Tuition Credit program.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Students should be aware that the college will issue a T4A (bursary) tax slip covering the amount of scholarship awarded. Tax slips will be emailed to the student each year at the end of March.
