Financial Aid
Financial Assistance for education
Are you eligible for Loans and Bursaries?
TAV College’s policy is that quality education should be available to any student who has the desire and ability to attend and that financial reasons should not prevent a student from achieving this goal.
Financial aid is available in the form of loans and bursaries from the Quebec Provincial Government. For more information visit www.afe.gouv.qc.ca . TAV College also offers an internal full or partial tuition credit for some programs.
Who can apply for financial aid?
Any TAV College student can apply for financial aid. Eligibility is determined by the MEES (Ministère de l’Éducation de l’Enseignement supérieur) and each application takes into consideration a number of factors. To evaluate these needs, the government takes into account allowable expenses and any contribution it deems to be required as costs towards your education, i.e. your contribution and, if applicable, your parents’ contribution, your sponsor’s contribution, or your spouse’s contribution. Generally, a student must be considered full-time (minimum 12 hours per week) in order to be eligible for government loans and bursaries.
