FAQS

What is Omnivox?

Omnivox is a Learning Management System, LMS for short. It is an application and/or Internet browser-based integrated system that allows the College to communicate important academic information to you. In addition, it gives you access to essentially everything throughout your time at TAV, including:

  • Classroom locations and times
  • Announcements from teachers
  • Class cancellations
  • Assignment instructions
  • Assignment submissions
  • Your grades
  • Communications between your teachers, administrators, and peers
  • And much more.

How do I communicate with my teachers and classmates?

Students are able to communicate with their course instructor and/or classmates via Mio (the Omnivox messaging service).

The email addresses of your instructors will be listed on the front page of their course outline. Some instructors may request that you communicate with them by email as opposed to Mio.

I lost my omnivox password or don't know my student id number

Contact the College by email at: info@tav.ca  or by telephone (514) 731-2296 ext.0

*Be sure to include an informative subject line in the email to ensure that your message transmits immediacy.

I have not used Omnivox before
