COVID-19 updates at tav College
This webpage has been created to act as an official point of reference for all updates and information regarding COVID-19 at TAV College. Please refer to the links below.

PLEASE NOTE:
As of May 14, 2022, wearing a mask inside TAV College buildings as well as in several enclosed or partially enclosed public places is no longer mandatory. On public transit and at healthcare facilities, the obligation is maintained.
- Wearing a mask remains recommended for vulnerable people and older adults.
- Disinfecting your hands when entering TAV College’s buildings is still recommended.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
For students
As of May 14, 2022, wearing a mask in several enclosed or partially enclosed public places is no longer mandatory. On public transit and at healthcare facilities, the obligation is maintained.

Throughout the semester
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are displaying symptoms of the virus, follow these procedures:
- Do not come to the College.
- Inform your teachers and program coordinator as soon as possible.
- Follow the recommended self-isolation instructions:

During midterm and final exams
- If you have tested positive or are displaying symptoms for a midterm or final exam:
- Do not come to the College.
- Inform your teacher(s) and program coordinator as soon as possible.
- Provide proper documentation of your situation (doctor’s note, positive test result, etc.) to your program coordinator by email or Mio.
- Stay home and follow the recommended self-isolation instructions: https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/self-isolation
- Exams will be deferred to a later date if proper documentation was submitted on time.
For staff
For teachers and staff who will be on campus, the following COVID-19 protocols are enforced:

- Disinfecting your hands when entering TAV College’s buildings is still recommended.
- You may call our security agent should a student not cooperate with the mask mandate (514-731-2296, ext 0).
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or you are displaying symptoms of the virus, do not come to the College:
- Inform your students via Omnivox as soon as possible.
- Prepare your course(s) to be delivered online for the amount of time you will be in self-isolation.
- Inform your program’s coordinator, and the front desk, as soon as possible.
